Every EPOC window and door system is specified to exact dimensions, and the finish is no different. Colour, material, and hardware selections are made at the unit level, with independent interior and exterior choices available across all product lines. Aluminum systems offer the full RAL palette plus an extended collection of over 60 textured and anodized finishes. Wood and wood-clad systems are available in over 300 paint and stain variations across eight timber species. uPVC profiles come in over 60 colour foils with independent interior and exterior selection. Hardware is sourced from Formani, FSB, and Hoppe, with profiles and finishes to match any architectural palette. Samples are available on request.
RAL Colour chart
The RAL colour system, established in Germany in 1927, is the standard finish specification across European window and door manufacturing. All EPOC product lines are available across the full RAL palette, with powder coat and liquid paint finishes that are UV resistant and colorfast over the lifetime of the unit. RAL finish coordinates directly with facades, doors, and interior metalwork, allowing the full fenestration package to be specified as a single cohesive system.

Wood paint and stains
Every wood species is available in a range of finishes, from clear washes to deep stains, with over 300 standard RAL paint options and dual colour schemes available across all wood and wood-clad systems. Grey washes have become one of the most specified finishes in high-end residential construction in the US, valued for the way they highlight natural wood grain variation while maintaining a restrained, contemporary palette. Textured and anodized aluminum
Beyond the standard RAL palette, EPOC aluminum systems are available in an extended collection of over 60 textured, wood-grain, and anodized finishes. Textured finishes replicate the appearance of natural materials — wood, stone, and brushed metal — while anodized options deliver a depth and sheen that powder coat cannot match. The extended palette allows frame finish to be specified as a deliberate design element, not an afterthought.
Wood species
Pine
European White Pine is the standard species for wood window production, valued for its consistent grain, dimensional stability, and ease of machining. An ideal base for painted and stained finishes alike.
Meranti
Harvested from the Shorea genus across Malaysia and Indonesia, Meranti ranges from pale white to rich red tones similar to mahogany. Highly workable and dimensionally stable, it is well suited to complex joinery profiles.
Oak
Dense, strong, and dimensionally stable, oak is one of the most specified timber species for high-end wood windows. Its rich grain deepens with exposure to light, making it a natural choice for interiors where the wood is meant to be seen.
Larch
Native to European mountain forests, larch is prized for its tight grain, natural resin content, and inherent resistance to decay and rot. One of the most durable softwoods available for window construction.
Teak
Sourced from Asia's tropical forests, teak is one of the world's most durable timber species. Its natural oil content provides exceptional resistance to moisture, rot, and pests, and its golden grain develops a distinctive patina over time.
Sapele
A tropical hardwood from Central Africa with a reddish-brown hue and interlocking grain pattern that produces a natural ribbon figure in the finished surface. Exceptionally strong and increasingly specified for high-end residential joinery.
Iroko
An African hardwood increasingly specified in European window manufacturing as a teak alternative. Similar in durability and weather resistance, with a medium to dark brown tone and an irregular grain that gives each unit a distinct character.
Spruce
Fine, straight grain and a high strength-to-weight ratio make spruce a practical choice for window frames where ease of operation and dimensional precision are priorities. Accepts paint and stain finishes cleanly.
uPVC color foils
uPVC+ profiles are available in over 60 colour foils, with independent interior and exterior colour selection across all units. The range covers solid colours across the RAL palette, grey tones, subdued naturals, and wood-grain foils that closely replicate the appearance of timber. Anthracite on white is one of the most specified combinations in high-end residential construction — a clean contrast that reads as intentional from both inside and out.
